Jackson Leadership specializes in helping organizations manage dynamic change. When organizations experience the stress of change—often suddenly and significantly—we help leaders take ownership of challenges, and raise their game.
The first thing to know about Jackson Leadership: we are 100% focused on leadership development, and we only work with organizations going through change.
Another critical difference is that we don’t believe in ‘off the shelf’. All of our programs are customized to meet the unique needs of each of our clients. Quite simply, how we help depends on you.
We work with clients undergoing major changes to their businesses. Challenges such as rapid growth, strategic shifts, or stakeholder/ownership changes, such as M&A activity or private equity transactions. These seismic events significantly increase the training and support needs of senior managers and leaders; helping organizations address these challenges is what we do. Leaders undergoing massive changes in their businesses require different skills, and greater adaptability, as the environment and marketplace shift around them.
The world is changing faster than ever. Building dynamic, proactive leadership is the surest recipe for success.
Change is a powerful stressor; it has a way of revealing both the strengths and weaknesses in an organization. Navigating change isn’t a natural-born talent; it’s a process that requires commitment, perspective and practice.
Sometimes it’s hard to see clearly from the inside. We’ve been helping companies — like yours — navigate changes like rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, and changes in ownership. We’re not interested in delivering off-the-shelf programs. We’re here to be your partners in change.
Our work is designed to benefit individual team members, while helping the organization meet its goals. We work quickly and practically. Insights and patterns gleaned from our programs are fed back to the senior leaders, identifying risks and strengths, driving successful organizational change.
Dave Jackson started his first consulting practice in the early 1970’s. That practice continues today as Jackson Leadership, under the guidance of Tim Jackson, Ph.D. We are based in Toronto, but our work is global in scope. Our clients include several blue-chip organizations who value the insight and strength of our team of expert consultants. Our roots in leadership development go back fifty years, and we believe in its value now more than ever.
We are not a big firm and we believe that’s a big advantage. Being small means being responsive to our customers, customizing solutions to fit client needs, specializing only in building leadership capacity, and striving to forge high-quality and long-term client relationships. We work with a select number of highly-qualified, experienced leadership consultants, giving us the flexibility to create the best fit for our clients.
